Mike has always had a passion for automobiles and watercrafts. He started detailing when he was just 15 years old and by his senior year in high school he was a helper in a body shop. He spent the next couple years observing, learning, and asking every question he could about auto body and paint. Mike then got a shop van and started a mobile auto body and paint service.
An opportunity to paint at Spirit Aero Systems to Mike away from the auto body industry for a few years, but while at Spirit he was able to learn more and advance his skills.
A couple year later, a big body shop in Wichita asked Mike to run a smaller sister company they had started that was struggling. Within 1.5 years, Mike brought that small company to life... and he was ready to take ownership of his skills once again. So Mike went back to the original shop where he started and became part owner. Eventually, he knew it was time for him to do it on his own and he started Top Shot Paint & Marine.
Mike is currently relocating his Wichita location. Stay tuned for details as ground breaking commences.
